An enthusiastic amateur photographer with an interest in Landscape, Urban and Abstract photography living in Hampton, UK
This weekend Cheryl and I were in York for our LRPS Distinction Assessment day.
I am relieved and pleased to say that we both passed.
Our LRPS distinctions are not confirmed until ratified by the RPS council, but this is the main hurdle over.
The full size images seen in the hanging plan can be seen below
We were visiting my inlaws in Bognor last weekend.
I had a Fish Eye lens, they have a westie.
We both wanted to play!
My gorgeous wife, Cheryl, helped us contain our enthusiasm.
No lenses were licked or chewed in the production of this image. But it was close!
This image is somewhat inspired by Aaron Yeoman’s style of tube photography (http://aaronyeomanphotography.co.uk).
It was taken first thing on a Sunday morning, in-between train arrivals.
It could have been a little more symmetrical had I move a foot to the left, but I am very pleased with this image, especially once I had removed the partial way out sign from the top left if the image.
Today we were in Kent with Russ Barnes. We had a great time, starting at 0700 and running through to 1700.
This was my last shot of the day.
I have adjusted White Balance on this version and increased fine detail using a Silver Efex layer in PS CS6, and re-cropped the image to pull the eye to the left.
